I have been working in the jewelry arts for over 25 years. After studying sculpture at the Columbus College of Art and Design I directed my knowledge and appreciation for function and practicality transforming my work into wearable art.
I create jewelry that is inspired by the magical people I have met along the way giving personality and human emotion to each piece. Designing angels, goddesses, mermaids, divas, animals, aliens and robots. Using metal, pearls, vintage mechanical parts, gems, and photographs.
The Ohio jewelry pieces are highly textured and oxidized with words and phrases expressing local and state pride. Using copper, brass , aluminum and nuts and bolts to create an" Industrial Chic "look.
My sterling silver jewelry is simple and elegant in nature. Incorporating freshwater pearls and gemstones in a unique silver bound setting. Each piece is lovingly hand fabricated in my studio using the techniques of forging, soldering, die forming, riveting and brush finishing.
